Responsibilities
Apply concepts and details of gauging, fixtures and tooling to assist in problem solving
Identify areas in which tooling, cleanliness, operation sequences, or forming consistency can be improved to increase throughput or product quality
Help in maintaining and control part programs for all weld/fab areas
When necessary, help to evaluate existing tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement
Provide support to production associates as they assume greater responsibility in manufacturing functions
Qualification
Required
Five to seven years' experience in manufacturing facility
Ability to interpret prints sketches, verbal instructions, and mathematical data to identify tooling, gauging, and fixturing
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Formal training in robotics systems, CNC controls, machining, and SPC
Evaluate tooling and fixturing to determine optimum method of repair or improvement
PLC programming knowledge
Shift flexibility a must
Preferred
AutoCAD experience a plus
FANUC Robotics background preferred
Welding Experience is a plus
