Associate Director of Sales
Place Showroom is the epicenter for emerging brands, seeking an Associate Director of Specialty Sales to join their east coast team. The role involves leading the specialty sales team, developing sales strategies, and fostering relationships with key specialty retailers across the eastern United States.

Develop and execute a regional strategic plan for growth and expansion for our contemporary business through existing and new distribution channels across specialty retailers
Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and develop a team through a sense of teamwork and collaboration
Cultivate strong relationships with key specialty retailers
Collaborate with cross functional partners across sales, merchandising, operations and finance
Drive new business development initiatives
Qualification
Required
Extensive experience in the wholesale apparel industry
Strong relationships in the women's contemporary market
Strong leadership skills
Ability to mentor and develop a team
Ability to cultivate strong relationships with key specialty retailers
Collaboration with cross functional partners across sales, merchandising, operations and finance
Drive new business development initiatives
Strong time management skills
Motivated and takes initiative
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exercises excellent judgment when decision making
Display professionalism with individuals at all levels in and outside the organization
Willingness to adapt to an expanding environment
High degree of accuracy and organizational skills
Technically savvy particularly with Excel
Knowledge of Showroom Exchange, Joor, NuOrder or similar
Must be able to travel up to 40% of the year
