Account Executive (Licensing Sales Manager)

Global Music Rights (GMR) is a performance rights management organization focused on licensing and distributing public performance royalties to music creators. Responsibilities

Manage and grow a high-volume sales pipeline (400+ prospects) across multiple industries
Consistently exceed sales and licensing targets on a monthly and quarterly basis
Drive outbound communication via phone, email, and other channels to convert leads into licensees
Negotiate and close licensing agreements that balance compliance and customer needs
Use tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and DocuSign to manage pipeline, communications, and reporting
Become an expert in copyright and performance rights and educate prospects on their responsibilities
Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and licensing operations to ensure smooth client onboarding and resolution of account issues

Required

2+ years of full-cycle outbound B2B sales experience (transactional or mid-market a plus)
Must have proven ability to exceed quotas in a high-volume sales environment
Outstanding communication, listening, and negotiation skills
Exceptional organizational skills and self-discipline, in a remote setting
A drive to learn and grow, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset
A passion for music and songwriters

Preferred

Experience in licensing, compliance sales, or IP-based industries
Knowledge of copyright law, performance rights, or the music industry
Experience with tools like Salesforce, email marketing platforms, and Microsoft Office
