Transmission Finance Lead (Management & Program Analyst)
The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is seeking a Transmission Finance Lead (Management & Program Analyst) to provide strategic leadership on Transmission cost management initiatives. The role involves advising senior managers on financial policy, coordinating financial planning issues, and providing management and program financial analysis to support Transmission Services' strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership on specific Transmission cost management initiatives and sound business practices to control costs
Evaluate proposed allocations from all of the cost pools, advises Transmission VPs, IOMs and managers and liaisons with the BPA Accounting & Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis functions
Represent Transmission Services interests and concerns in cross-Transmission organizations, to provide management and program analysis on financial policy to maintain financial integrity
Coordinate resolution of accounting, financial strategy and financial planning issues, and advises Transmission VPs, IOMs and managers on strategic and internal cost management issues
Serve as an analyst and strategic expert for the long-term analysis, financial strategy and planning of Transmission Services organizations
Provide management and program financial analysis, statistical data, information, and studies to assist Transmission Services managers in meeting their strategic business objectives
Qualification
Required
You must be a United States Citizen

A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the Federal service
Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to 1) Formulate comprehensive strategies for the sustained execution and oversight of a fiscal initiative.; 2) provide expert advice, consultation, and analysis to senior managers on asset management, debt management, or cost management issues
