Responsibilities

Under supervision of the section supervisor, performs Laboratory non-technical assignments in a timely manner according to UHS Hospitals’, Infection Control, Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC Blood and Body Fluids policies and procedures

Priority is given to STAT specimens require immediate processing

Qualification

High School DiplomaPhlebotomy TrainingEnrolled in degree program

Enrolled in a degree program in a related field of study
