Adjunct Instructor - Learning Support, Reading (Pool)

Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) is responsible for overseeing higher education in Tennessee, and they are seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Learning Support in Reading. This role involves delivering quality instruction through various teaching methods and ensuring consistent student experiences while adhering to college policies and guidelines.

Higher Education

Responsibilities

Teach courses via on-ground, online and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned
Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences
Utilize the College’s learning management system to provide course materials to students
Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class
Regularly check College email account and department mailbox
Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends
Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines
Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar
Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines

Required

Bachelor's degree in Reading, Literacy or English with at least three graduate hours in Developmental Education, Reading or Literacy or Bachelor's degree in English, Language Arts or Literacy and one year of secondary Reading teaching experience
