Responsibilities
Experience providing professional mechanical engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects
Experience performing as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects
Experience providing on-site field survey measurements and verification
Experience preparing mechanical load calculations
Experience with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, and Sketch Up
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience providing professional mechanical engineering consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects
Experience performing as a consultant in the establishment of design standards and criteria for construction projects
Experience providing on-site field survey measurements and verification
Experience preparing mechanical load calculations
Experience with computer-assisted design software such as Revit, and Sketch Up
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic. Willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Active Top Secret US Government Security Clearance
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
10 years' experience as Mechanical Engineer in commercial/government office building design and construction
Preferred
Professional Engineer (PE)
Experience working with governmental agencies at the federal, city, county and state levels
20 years' experience as an Mechanical Engineer in commercial/government office building design and construction
