They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer to lead the design and coordination of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems for various building types, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

ConsultingProduct Design

Responsibilities

Lead the mechanical design process from concept through construction documents
Develop HVAC and plumbing system layouts using Revit and AutoCAD
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and energy analysis
Coordinate with architects, structural, electrical, and civil engineers
Review and mark up shop drawings and submittals
Mentor junior designers and engineers
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and sustainability goals
Participate in client meetings and presentations as needed

Qualification

Mechanical DesignRevitAutoCADHVAC SystemsBuilding CodesASHRAE StandardsLEED PrinciplesCoordination SkillsPE LicenseCommunication Skills

Required

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
8+ years of experience in mechanical design for buildings
Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical design software (e.g., Trane Trace, Carrier HAP)
Strong knowledge of building codes, ASHRAE standards, and LEED principles
Excellent communication and coordination skills

Preferred

PE license preferred but not required
