Responsibilities
Conducting GPS surveys
Locating overhead and underground lines
Performing inspections
Documenting power distribution, electric distribution, and other related tasks contributing to a variety of electric distribution design projects
Completing design tasks for associated electric utility design projects
Drafting
Engineering calculations
Easement validation
Design and construction cost estimating
Permit package development
Reviewing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for updates or conflicts
Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in project execution
Effectively managing multiple projects at once to ensure their timely and successful completion
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in supporting utility electric distribution projects
Experience utilizing MicroStation and ArcGIS
Experience with AutoCAD
Role will be primarily remote with 20% travel expectations between office and client site visits in San Antonio, TX
Preferred
Associates Degree in technical related field
Technical certificate in drafting
