Responsibilities

Architect and deliver a modern, scalable data warehouse/data lake for capital markets data
Drive a transition from legacy systems toward modern data technology
Evaluate and implement the right tools, patterns, and design approaches for the platform’s long-term success
Lead the modelling and domain design of core datasets including market data and reference data
Oversee the democratization of the platform and ease of access to end users
Remain hands-on with data engineering: pipelines, ingestion, quality frameworks, and monitoring
Build and maintain robust ETL processes, primarily in Python
Bring experience building similar platforms in capital markets environments
Collaborate closely with quantitative developers, risk, research, and portfolio teams to ensure data is a strategic enabler across the business

Required

Experience building modern data platforms in capital markets or similarly complex, data-intensive domains
Hands-on leadership role responsible for defining long-term data architecture
