Responsibilities
Use technical and communication abilities to complete the civil component of a wide variety of projects in a dynamic design team setting
Inspect construction sites for compliance with project documents and engineering principles
Assist with preparation of plans and specifications, reports, and other project deliverables
Attend meetings on an as needed basis
Complete detailed reports as required
Procure permits and other approvals from various agencies
Communicate effectively with construction and engineering staff, clients, and other project stakeholders
Assist with CAD drafting and design, and preparation of construction documents
Qualification
Required
Some College education
Strong technical and communication abilities
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to inspect construction sites for compliance with project documents and engineering principles
Ability to assist with preparation of plans and specifications, reports, and other project deliverables
Ability to attend meetings on an as needed basis
Ability to complete detailed reports as required
Ability to procure permits and other approvals from various agencies
Effective communication skills with construction and engineering staff, clients, and other project stakeholders
