Responsibilities
Lead indirect tax advisory efforts for new product development, go-to-market strategies, and platform enhancements
Partner with product and engineering teams to embed tax requirements into product design and lifecycle
Advise on indirect tax implications of evolving business models, international expansion, and digital product offerings
Collaborate cross-functionally to structure transactions and contracts with tax efficiency and operational feasibility
Monitor global legislative developments and proactively assess their impact on product and business operations
Drive indirect tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities and risk mitigation
Support M&A activity with indirect tax due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition compliance
Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external advisors, tax authorities, and industry peers
Champion internal education on indirect tax policies, processes, and strategic considerations
Represent the company in industry forums and contribute to thought leadership in the indirect tax space
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or tax certification preferred
10+ years of experience in indirect tax advisory VAT/GST, Sales Tax and Digital Service Taxes, preferably in a multinational corporation or Big Four firm
Deep understanding of global indirect tax regimes and digital tax trends
Strong research, written documentation, and oral presentations skills
Strong analytical, communication, project management, and collaboration with external advisors
Ability to translate complex tax concepts into actionable business insights
