California State University San Marcos is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach CE 100: Introduction to Computer Engineering for the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will collaborate with the lecture instructor and teach the laboratory portion of the course, engaging students through hands-on exercises and projects in the field of computer engineering.

Required

A master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Teaching experience in an electrical engineering or related class
Per the California State University's Out-of-State Employment Policy, the CSU is prohibited from hiring employees to perform CSU-related work outside California. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment

Preferred

Teaching experience with VHDL or Verilog Programming for Xilinx, or an engineering class
Electrical Engineering industry or research experience
Experience with ABET reporting
Demonstrated commitment to actively engaging undergraduates in the classroom or laboratory through research-informed pedagogical practices
Preference will be given to applicants with demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusivity, and/or intercultural competence with diverse groups in relation to teaching
