Postdoctoral Research Fellow - Brewer Collaboratory

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to research activities related to the FAITH! Emergency Preparedness Initiative, including study design, implementation, data analysis, and dissemination
Analyze existing quantitative and qualitative datasets and develop manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, progress reports, and conference presentations
Collaborate with community partners, including faith leaders and organizations, to promote trust-based, culturally informed engagement
Contribute to other community-based participatory research (CBPR) projects led by Dr. Brewer’s team, focused on developing digital health interventions and culturally tailored cardiovascular prevention strategies for African American communities
Participate in regular mentoring meetings, seminars, and professional development opportunities to advance academic and leadership skills

Required

Highly motivated and mission-driven
Experience in community-engaged research
Ability to lead and contribute to research activities
