Monogram Foods is committed to the production of the highest quality safe foods, and they are seeking a Technician I, Quality Assurance to assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor and Manager. The role involves monitoring product quality, enforcing Good Manufacturing Practices, and conducting inspections to ensure compliance with food safety policies.

Responsibilities

Monitor existing product SKU's and directly recommend/leads development improvements with R&D
Monitor quality of incoming raw materials and finished products, including organoleptic evaluations
Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
Complete Pre-operational Inspections each morning and evening including swabs weekly
Monitor general upkeep of production area
Monitor verifications for CCP's on the floor
Perform Specification Testing on certain incoming raw materials as needed
Monitor daily label checks, HACCP, operational, weekly thermometer checks, weekly temp tags and Calibration requirements

Required

Minimum 6 months of quality or related experience required
Proficient knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations, 3rd party audits, GMP's, SSOP's, HACCP, BRC and process control
Intermediate level computer skills – excel, word, PowerPoint
Verbal and written English communication skills
Be knowledgeable of and follow the safety procedures and policies as outlined by Monogram Foods
Be knowledgeable of safe food handling practices, HACCP, and quality control procedures in your department
MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER

Preferred

High School diploma or GED preferred
Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred
