Responsibilities
Responsible for all data management based on Tool Room needs
Full mold/tool design as required
Assist in tooling (project management) from conception to mold/tool completion
Ensure that all tooling forms/paperwork are being filled out properly
Assist in coordinating work with outside tooling houses
Attend design reviews as required
Work with QA on quality issues
Perform other tasks as assigned
Assist in maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality Management System and ISO 14001 certification by supporting corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation
Qualification
Required
Associate degree or Tool & Die Apprentice certificate from an accredited institution
Prior experience with CAD software required
5 years' experience in plastic injection mold design
Experience in creating mold parting lines
Prior Tool Room experience
Preferred
Experience in stamping dies helpful
