Responsibilities
Provide data and analytical support to the Business Development team, delivering insights that guide strategic decisions and partnership initiatives
Develop and communicate growth strategies that strengthen NerdWallet’s relationships with existing and prospective partners
Conduct opportunity sizing, business case development, and performance analysis to drive short- and long-term revenue growth
Partner with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Finance, Analytics, & GMs) to design and execute initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness
Define and implement measurement frameworks and reporting standards to track performance and identify optimization opportunities
Provide strategic recommendations that balance partner needs, NerdWallet objectives, and overall market dynamics
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in analytics, growth marketing, business development, or strategic partnerships with a proven track record of delivering business results
Expert-level SQL skills and strong proficiency in Tableau (or similar BI tools), with the ability to build complex queries, create dashboards, and deliver actionable insights
Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to drive growth strategies and partnership outcomes
Experience working in digital affiliates, online consumer acquisition, or financial services businesses
Strong understanding of lending and credit business models, products, and strategies
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally
Intellectual curiosity and the desire to become an expert in financial services and growth strategy
Analytical and results-oriented: Skilled at identifying key business drivers, conducting rigorous analysis, and translating insights into actionable strategies
Strategic and methodical: Able to take a holistic view, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and build frameworks that guide business growth
Data-driven problem solver: Comfortable leveraging data and analytical tools to drive decision-making in ambiguous environments
Strong communicator and influencer: Capable of crafting compelling narratives for partners, executives, and cross-functional teams
