Internship - Anomaly Localization for Industrial Inspection
Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL) is seeking a self-motivated intern to work on anomaly localization in industrial inspection using computer vision. The role involves developing algorithms and preparing manuscripts for scientific publications, while collaborating with MERL researchers.
Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Responsibilities
Experience with Python, PyTorch, and large foundation models (e.g. CLIP, ALIGN, etc.)
Collaborate with MERL researchers to develop algorithms and prepare manuscripts for scientific publications
Qualification
Required
Experience with Python, PyTorch, and large foundation models (e.g. CLIP, ALIGN, etc.)
Strong background in computer vision and machine learning
Published at least one paper in a top-tier computer vision, machine learning, or artificial intelligence venues, such as CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, ICML, ICLR, NeurIPS, or AAAI
Ability to collaborate with MERL researchers to develop algorithms and prepare manuscripts for scientific publications
Full authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
Experience of image anomaly localization in industrial inspection settings (e.g., MVTec-AD or VisA datasets)
Usage of large foundation models
