Technical Program Manager, Scheduling

Fleet Data Centers designs, builds and operates mega-scale data center campuses. The Technical Program Manager, Scheduling is responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules for data center campus infrastructure deployments in North America, ensuring accurate planning and sequencing of activities across various phases.

Responsibilities

Create and update detailed schedules for design, procurement, construction, and commissioning using tools such as MS Project or Primavera P6
Track progress, analyze variances, and provide regular reports to stakeholders. Highlight critical path activities and recommend corrective actions
Identify schedule risks and work with project teams to develop mitigation strategies
Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure alignment on timelines and dependencies
Support development of scheduling standards, templates, and best practices to improve predictability and efficiency
Monitor progress against the baseline schedule and generate regular reports for stakeholders
Utilize the Critical Path Method (CPM) to identify task dependencies and the critical sequence of activities

Required

5–10 years of experience in scheduling for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar). Knowledge of CPM, and ability to read construction documents
Strong understanding of construction sequencing and critical path methodology
Ability to analyze schedule data and communicate findings clearly
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Effective communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
Analytical mindset for identifying risks and optimizing schedules
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
Integrity and Ethical Standards: Build trust, ensure fairness, and foster long-term, transparent relationships with suppliers
Effective Communication: The ability to clearly convey expectations and requirements to suppliers and negotiation parties, while understanding their needs and concerns. Comfortable delivering written and verbal presentations to internal leadership teams
