The Grade Foreman is responsible for organizing and leading a crew to safely and efficiently perform mass earthwork and excavating activities, ensuring that all safety precautions and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities
Coordinating construction work according to priorities and plans
Plan, organize and lead grading crew
Producing schedules and monitor attendance of crew
Allocating general and daily responsibilities
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
Schedule aggregate material quantities and deliveries. Determine trucking needs and schedule truck
Allocate general and daily responsibilities
Supervise and train workers and tradespeople
Ensure labor and other resources are adequate
Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
Supervise the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget
Resolve problems when they arise
Report on progress to managers, engineers etc
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as construction foreman
Driver's license is required
Preferred
Diploma in a skilled trade (electrician, carpenter etc.) a plus
