Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement large-scale, high-performance software systems on cloud platforms (OCI and other CSPs)
Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns, and best practices across engineering teams
Lead design reviews, proof-of-concept development, and technology evaluations for new projects
Collaborate closely with product management, product development, DevOps, and security teams to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions
Provide technical mentorship to developers and ensure high-quality code delivery
Build AI solutions to improve DevOps productivity and cloud service efficiency
Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability through proactive design and continuous improvement
Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential for adoption
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
12+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years in an architect or technical lead role
Proven expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, C#, or Node.js)
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
Hands-on experience with OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services (compute, networking, storage, and security)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and DevOps practices
Strong understanding of API design, microservices, event-driven architectures, and data streaming
Solid foundation in software design patterns, distributed systems, and RESTful or GraphQL architectures
Preferred
Cloud Architect certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, or GCP Professional Cloud Architect)
Experience with serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
Familiarity with data engineering, AI/ML pipelines, or observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
Strong background in security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.)
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence technical direction across teams
