The Kitchen and Bath Designer role focuses on providing sales and operations management leadership to builder centers, developing and implementing goals to meet sales and expense targets.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement builder direct sales and operations plans for specified territory
Develop business relationships to promote builder direct sales and efficient operations
Manage cost of sales within target guidelines providing leverage for both channel and company
Motivate sales force to meet or exceed target sales and expense budgets
Provide effective field service to all customers
Sell and manage major accounts
Overall strategy development in support of the AWC and builder direct visions
Direct sales effort to achieve a richer product
Ensure high level of product/program merchandising execution
Recruit, develop and retain an effective sales force using recruiting strategies and succession planning
Develop sales and expense budgets for assigned division
Recruit, select, develop, and retain effective sales force
Meet or exceed sales and expense budgets
Maintain quality business relationships with key customers
Monitor and act on all division metric reporting
Participate in cross-functional teams
Assist in the development and implementation of product/program merchandising initiatives
Align with American Woodmark policies and procedures in performing responsibilities
Be a model of the American Woodmark culture
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful sales, marketing, or builder operations experience in the builder direct sales environment
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in recruiting, developing, and retaining an effective sales, marketing, or operations team
Experienced in developing, implementing, and managing sales, marketing, or operations programs
Successful track record of sales, account management and customer relations
Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft office products
Ability to build effective business relationships
Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, general business or related field
Preferred
Master's in business administration
