Associate Interior Designer

The Associate Interior Designer will play a crucial role in project teams by contributing to design documentation, concept development, and vendor coordination, ensuring seamless project delivery from concept to installation.

Responsibilities

Produce and maintain accurate floor plans, elevations, schedules, and specifications that clearly communicate design intent and support project execution
Participate in the creative development of projects - contributing ideas, renderings, and material selections that align with the design vision
Research and document furnishings, fixtures, and finishes that balance aesthetic goals with practical considerations such as budget, performance, and lead times
Ensure all drawings and documentation meet firm standards for quality, clarity, and constructability
Track orders, vendor communications, and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and within scope
Support the creation of client-facing presentations that are visually compelling and professionally polished
Work closely with Lead Designers to maintain project momentum, communicate updates, and uphold quality at every stage
Participate in installations, punch lists, and final styling to help bring each space to life with precision and care

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field preferred
3–5 years of experience in residential interior design or similar project-based design support
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and related documentation tools
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and project needs with confidence and clarity
