Programmer Analyst III
The University of Southern California, a leader in neuroimaging and informatics, is seeking a senior-level Programmer Analyst to enhance their data platforms. The role involves developing web applications for neuroscience data and requires proficiency in various programming languages and technologies.

Responsibilities
Work under the supervision of faculty and other programmers to extend the capabilities of existing data platforms
Assess project requirements, assign and review programming assignments, and fix programming bugs
Develop intuitive, interactive, and visual web applications for archiving, searching, displaying, and distributing complex neuroscience data
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Java (including servlets)
Proficient in JavaScript
Proficient in HTML
Proficient in CSS
Proficient in JSP
Proficient in AJAX
Proficient in MySQL
Experience assessing project requirements
Experience assigning and reviewing programming assignments
Experience fixing programming bugs
Both front-end and back-end experience is required
Sound knowledge of programming and documentation procedures
Knowledge of one or more appropriate computer languages
Competent to work independently on complex programming activities
Preferred
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Five years of progressive systems development experience
Knowledge of JavaScript libraries
Knowledge of jQuery
Knowledge of HTML/HTML5
Knowledge of CSS 2/3
Knowledge of AJAX
Knowledge of JSP
Knowledge of Java
Knowledge of Servlets
Knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of JSTL
Knowledge of Docker
Experience with MySQL
Experience with Tomcat
Experience with Linux
Good problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills
Clear English communication
Ability to work independently and effectively incorporate feedback
Ability to provide leadership and guidance to other programmers
