Responsibilities

Collects, reviews, and inputs data into a computer processing system; audits output data

Maybe expected to code data and input data for computer processing

Responsible for posting payors as assigned by the Team Lead of the manual Third Party Payers, Patient, and Bad Debt payments, contractual adjustments and adjustments to the accounts receivable for designated facilities

Identifies and resolves keying errors

Maintains and revises procedural lists, control records and coding schemes to process source data

Qualification

Data entryHealthcare billingAAHAM CertificationAttention to detailProblem solving

Required

High School Graduate or equivalent

1-3 years' experience in healthcare environment in billing and/or cash posting

Preferred

Completed AAHAM Patient Representative Certification Recommended
