Senior LevelPenn State University is seeking a self-motivated, highly skilled Postdoctoral Scholar to work in the Pan Lab under Prof. Dipanjan Pan. The successful candidate will conduct biomedical experiments, synthesize and characterize nanomaterials, and engage in various nanomedicine projects.

Responsibilities
Design and conduct biomedical experiments
Nanomaterials synthesis and characterization
Extensive experience with electrical engineering, circuit design
Translational science
3D printing
Hands-on lab benchwork on cell biology, immunology, and animal tumor models is a plus
Generate, analyze, and evaluate data
Present results in an organized manner
Learn new techniques and approaches in state-of-the-art materials characterization techniques
Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field and integrate them into research
Qualification
Required
A PhD degree in bioengineering or biomedical engineering, cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, or a related field is required by the start date
Multiple peer-reviewed publications that demonstrate relevant hands-on skills are required
Experience with mentoring junior scientists, graduate students and working within a diverse, multidisciplinary group
Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic are required
Preferred
Hands-on lab benchwork on cell biology, immunology, and animal tumor models is a plus
