AB Mauri North America is seeking a SQL Solutions Developer to proactively partner with internal business customers to identify and implement business solutions. The role involves collaborating with IT team members to design new IT solutions that enhance business efficiency and productivity, with a primary focus on SQL database development and integration of data sources.

Responsibilities

Proactively partner with internal business customers to identify and implement business solutions

Work collaboratively with other IT Team members to design new IT solutions to improve business efficiency and productivity

Demonstrate exceptional team skills and show documented success in the area of SharePoint and SQL development

Develop database solutions by mapping common customer business problems to database technology solutions

Monitor and maintain database content as required

Customize and configure workflows to allow for the integration of other data sources

Familiar with the database security architecture and how it interfaces to Active Directory

Manage the tuning and performance of the SQL databases

Act as a partner for IT with the user community and apply most effective use of IT technology to direct business thinking

Identify information technology solutions to support the business strategies across all business functions

Work with key functional peers to identify IT needs, gathering requirements, assist in estimating project costs and schedules

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, equivalent experience

3 years of Microsoft SQL experience or 6 years' experience in lieu of degree

Good communication skills

Must be a self-starter who is passionate about data integration, governance, security and how it can impact an organization

Must have broad, documented experience working with databases, with specific examples of experience deploying, administering, and configuring

SQL Database Development

RDBMS Development Experience and ETL

Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) – at least 1 year

Scripting for automation

Data Architecture and Data Modeling experience

Experience with Power BI and SSAS

Performance tuning experience

Fluent in .NET based language (C#, VB.Net), with experience using Visual Studio or related IDE

Familiar with SQL Server 2008/2012/206 and SQL Reporting Services

Experience with Content Management Systems

Have knowledge of SQL security standards

Experience with PowerShell scripting

Design and build site-specific solutions using SharePoint native or 3rd-party tools (K2, Knowledge Lake)

Should be 'technically deep' and able to articulate the positive and negative aspects of how architectural choices impact the SharePoint environment and end-users

Ability to design and implement 'best practice' architectures for SQL servers and data storage

Apply current SharePoint out-of-the-box features combined with .NET technologies to develop, modify, and maintain SharePoint server portals

Ability to implement features and web parts

Ability to understand and utilize a breadth of technologies in the organization

Must be comfortable working independently and within a group in a fast-paced environment

Good communication skills and experience working and collaborating with various technical and non-technical audiences

Must be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
