Responsibilities

Leading large-scale multi-site initiatives in neuroimaging including multimodal MRI studies of aging and Alzheimer’s disease
Managing and coordinating team science initiatives that include image analytics
Relating clinical and neuropsychological data to brain imaging markers, especially brain tissue microstructure
Applying data and computer science methods to large-scale neuroimaging datasets
Driving innovation in neuroimaging research

Required

Minimum of 10+ years experience with leading large-scale multi-site initiatives in neuroimaging including multimodal MRI studies of aging and Alzheimer's disease
Experience working in the neurovirology, specifically the effects of chronic HIV infection on the brain
Skilled in applying data and computer science methods to large-scale neuroimaging datasets
Experience in managing and coordinating team science initiatives that include image analytics and relating clinical and neuropsychological data to brain imaging markers, especially brain tissue microstructure
Advanced knowledge of diffusion MRI pipelines and processing, across multiple clinical and research datasets
Strong mentorship skills
Excellent oral and written scientific communication
Nationally and internationally recognized for technical and scientific leadership as demonstrated by publication record in premier medical and imaging conferences and journals
PhD degree in Neuroscience or a related field
Strong background in interdisciplinary computational neuroscience research
Rigorous training and experience in the elements of modern neuroimaging, including neurobiology, neuroanatomy, image processing, and computational modeling
Deep knowledge of the current challenges and state-of-the-art techniques for structural and microstructural brain mapping, particularly large-scale data analysis, multi-site modeling, statistics, and visualization of magnetic resonance imaging datasets

Preferred

3+ years postdoctoral training
Sound knowledge of brain-behavior relationships in clinical and non-clinical populations, particularly in older adults
Knowledge of structural and diffusion MRI techniques, big data methodologies, and multi-cohort data harmonization
