They are seeking a full-time Trailer Technician to help maintain its fleet of Heavy haul trailers, responsible for repairing and maintaining trailers, performing inspections, and ensuring safety and road worthiness.

Responsibilities
Repair and maintain company fleet of Conestoga flat bed trailers
Trailer inspections, identifying/diagnosing issues and conducting necessary repairs including but not limited to brakes, tires, suspension systems, etc
Perform DOT inspections to ensure safety and road worthiness
Maintaining all components of rolling tarp systems
Welding and fabricating parts
Keeping details records of repairs, inspections and maintenance tasks
Communicating with drivers and fleet managers
Other job duties as designated by Shop Director
Qualification
Required
Repair and maintain company fleet of Conestoga flat bed trailers

Maintaining all components of rolling tarp systems

Keeping details records of repairs, inspections and maintenance tasks
Communicating with drivers and fleet managers
Other job duties as designated by Shop Director
Work is considered heavy physical work requiring exertion of 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently and up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects
Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform heavy physical work
Must be able to: walk, lift, reach, stoop, stand, grasp, balance, climb, kneel and crouch for extended periods of time
Strong communication skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Minnesota DOT (or willingness to obtain)
Minimum Five (5) years trailer maintenance experience
Driver's License
Must possess your own set of tools
