North Sky Communications is dedicated to providing connectivity through fiber optic networks. As a Technician Fiber Installation, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optic internet and telephone services to ensure seamless connectivity for customers.

Responsibilities

Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines

Install, setup and configure all equipment

Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues

Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement

Educate the customer regarding product and service usage

Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment

Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed

Perform work in all weather conditions

Other duties as assigned

Required

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience

Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

Routinely: work at heights, occasional entry into attics and crawl spaces and alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery; squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 55 pounds without assistance

Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard and mouse
