Responsibilities

Mainly responsible for developing bioanalytical quantitation methods for large molecules in biological matrices using LC-MS/MS platform, including triple quadrupole and high-resolution MS instrument
Directly working with method development team head to design the experimental activities to address the bioanalytical challenges of the method, conduct the experiments, summarize the method development results, discussion with the team head of the experimental results and present the results internally and to sponsors
Simultaneously handle multiple method development projects or method qualification/method validation as required. Coordinate study activities with supervisor and internal team to ensure efficiency and quality of the projects within the timeline
Coordinate with internal team, like PI and PMs, to deliver the established methods to internal team for method validation and sample analysis within the expected timeline. Provide technical support and troubleshooting in cases the method performance does not meet the expectation
Maintain the proper level of regulatory compliance for each study, helping to address QC/QA audit findings
Keep track of industry trending on the quantitation of large molecules using LC-MS platform. Assess, evaluate and implement new technologies or instruments in the GLP labs to improve the analysis efficiency or data quality
Set-up, utilize, and maintain complex instrumentation Follow safety precautions
Responsible for all technical related discussion and method development
Routinely provide technical training to internal team. Serve as mentor for junior scientists in the team. Help with training and/or mentoring of junior scientific staff. Ensure that GLP regulations and SOPs are followed in all bioanalytical service activities
