Responsibilities
A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is available in the Department of Physiology and Biomedical Engineering
The candidate will join a project aimed at developing a 'living pharmacy' platform
This platform is an implantable bioelectronic device carrying cells that produce therapy in the human body
This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced moonshot project funded by the ARPA-H
Looking for candidates with expertise in tissue engineering and biomaterials with emphasis on transplanting engineered constructs or devices into animals
Qualification
Required
Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program
Research Fellow is appropriate for individuals who have completed no more than one prior postdoctoral fellowship, at Mayo Clinic or elsewhere
Preferred
Expertise in tissue engineering and biomaterials with emphasis on transplanting engineered constructs or devices into animals
