As the Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer for the Yobi Ad Platform, you will lead the design and implementation of systems that power the real-time ML-based advertising stack, mentor other engineers, and drive architectural direction.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of the systems that power our real-time ML-based advertising stack

Own a major product bet, mentor other engineers, and drive architectural direction

Work across low-latency decisioning, data pipelines, and service orchestration layers to make our platform reliable, scalable, and developer-friendly

Span real-time bidding systems, cloud-native infrastructure, and reproducible deployment tooling

Required

Experience leading multi-person or even multi-team projects

Ability to empower/influence another person or team, and when to roll up your sleeves and implement it yourself

Deep systems experience. You've built or scaled distributed, high-throughput, low-latency systems—ideally in advertising, recommendations, or another real-time domain

Strong with compiled languages. You're fluent in one or more of Go, Rust, C++, Scala, or Java, and write code with clarity, correctness, and performance in mind

Architectural ownership. You can design clean interfaces, modular service boundaries, and deployment patterns that scale with product and team growth

Operational maturity. You understand observability, alerting, and reproducibility, and you treat CI/CD and infrastructure as first-class citizens

Mentorship and leadership. You lead by example, elevate those around you, and turn ambiguity into clarity and action

Startup mindset. You balance strong technical standards with pragmatism—you know when to ship and when to refactor
