Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive inventory of all software applications currently in use across the organization

Collect and analyze relevant documentation including contracts, vendor agreements, and budget commitments

Identify and engage with business owners and key users to understand application usage and business value

Document core functionality of each application, including known gaps and limitations

Identify and catalog key data elements handled by each application, with emphasis on regulated customer data

Map out business workflows supported by applications, distinguishing between automated and manual processes

Document application interfaces, both automated and manual, and assess integration points

Analyze overlaps in data, functionality, and business processes across applications

Define support requirements for each application, including vendor dependencies and internal resources
