Responsibilities
Setting and driving the overall architectural design and strategic technical directions for the CFW team
Designing, Architecting and Developing high performance, scalable cloud based security systems and services
Building highly scalable, low latency and high throughput services for the Netskope cloud
Coordinating with other service development teams, product management and support teams to ensure scalability, supportability and availability for owned services and dependent services
Working with Product Management to understand customer requirements and translating the same to engineering requirements and design. Understanding requirement specs, researching appropriate solutions, and designing/implementing high-quality features that ensure reliability, sustainability, scalability and observability
Working with QA to help them better test our product
Qualification
Required
18+ years of experience building high-performance networking security software in a distributed L3-L7 environment
Programming mastery in C/C++, Solid understanding of data structures with Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of Networking concepts - TCP/IP, SSL/TLS etc
Good working knowledge of Firewalls, IPS/IDS etc
Experience with traffic analysis tools like Tcpdump/Wireshark
Experience with Unit Testing frameworks - C++ gtest, pytest
Willingness to work with a globally distributed team in different time zones
Self-starter with desire to work in a fast paced environment with cross-timezone teams
Candidate should have an attitude of 'go and get it done' and should exhibit it in day-2-day work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BSCS or equivalent required
Preferred
MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
Bonus points for experience with Ansible, Kubernetes, SQL and NoSQL datastores, CI/CD, Jenkins
