Required

Earned Ph.D. or Ed.D in Social Foundations of Education, Urban Education, Sociology, or a closely related field
Strong research agenda that relates to important questions about how historical, philosophical, sociocultural, political, economic and international forces shape educational processes
Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate-level courses in teacher education and doctoral-level courses in social foundations
Demonstrated commitment to work in multicultural and urban settings

Preferred

Experience in teaching in higher education
