Responsibilities

Act as an effective team member in supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices
Actively participate in the Design Change Process to ensure proposed changes to products are systemically and thoroughly analyzed and assessed
Support the verification, validation, and usability testing to meet or exceed internal and external requirements
Apply sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies as a member of a cross-functional team resolving quality issues
Support internal and external audit activities

Required

Must graduate between Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
Currently Pursuing degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science
Must have at least one semester of school left post-internship
Must be able to commit to one of the following full internship program periods: May 18th – August 7th OR May 26th – August 14th
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization
Must have reliable transportation to and from the Arden Hills, MN Boston Scientific Corporate location

Preferred

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
Medical device engineering experience, including but not limited to previous internship
Knowledge of medical device standards compliance and design controls
Adaptable and effective in a team environment on in self-directed work
Knowledge of analytical techniques and statistical analysis
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
