They are seeking a motivated Mid-level Geotechnical Engineer to perform field investigations, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with a team of professionals.

Responsibilities
Performing geotechnical field investigations, construction observation, and engineering evaluation and technical analysis
Preparing technical reports and summaries, and interfacing directly with coworkers, clients, and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations
Completing technical analyses, including foundation design, support of excavation, and other engineering evaluations
Actively participating in your career growth, including the opportunity to join elective continuing education courses, being involved in community and professional societies, and managing projects and experiences that stretch you outside of your comfort zone to grow you as a professional
Qualification
Required
BS in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related degree
Valid US Drivers License, and a reliable means of transportation
Flexibility and willingness to travel, on occasion, and for multiple consecutive days periods of times (est. up to one week at a time, once per month)
Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to find solutions to problems, and get-it-done attitude!
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Minimum 3 years of experience in consulting engineering, or related field
Experience in preparing Engineering Reports with strong technical writing skills
Experience with working within and leading team environments
Working knowledge of geotechnical principles and engineering design
Preferred
Technical licensure track including EIT, GIT, PE, PG, PMP, or similar
Experience in planning, implementing, overseeing, and managing subsurface investigation programs
Prior experience with geotechnical investigations, including soil borings, rock coring, and material testing
Experience with design of foundations, support of excavation systems, and preparing reports
Prior experience with geotechnical software (gINT, GeoStudio, LPILE, ALLPILE, DeepEx, etc.)
Familiarity with renewable energy sector
