Responsibilities
Hire, mentor, and lead a diverse team responsible for defining and building personalized Apple Intelligence experiences
Work closely with design, machine learning, privacy engineering, and cross-functional partners to create UI frameworks and components that seamlessly integrate Apple Intelligence into products
Code alongside the team, building prototypes, shipping features, and establishing best practices for personalized experiences that respect user agency and privacy
Balance technical innovation with thoughtful user experience to ensure Apple Intelligence adapts to people's needs while remaining transparent about its reasoning and suggestions
Qualification
Required
BS in Computer Science or related field and 8 years practical experience in software engineering
Strong track record of shipping compelling UI features, plus experience with design and prototyping
At least 2 years of experience managing software engineering teams and/or projects
Deep knowledge of Objective-C, C, or Swift
Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across disciplines
Preferred
MS in Computer Science or related field
Experience shipping GenAI consumer features strongly preferred
Experience building personalized features
Experience designing or implementing transparency features for AI systems
Track record of hiring and developing engineering talent
