Designing of steel and concrete bridges
Development of construction plans and documents
Developing Engineer’s Estimates
Load Analysis of ordinary and complex bridge elements
Experience in bridge inspection
Knowledge of NYSDOT and NYS Thruway Authority Standards
Qualification
Required
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited college with 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering
Knowledge of the use of Bentley Microstation and Microsoft Office
Ability to work within multiple design teams and meet demanding schedules
Willing to work overtime
Must be a U.S. Citizen or be eligible to work without an employer sponsorship
Preferred
Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) in NY is preferred
Preferred experience in STAAD, MERLIN DASH and MathCAD
