Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent technical discipline; or 2-4 years of prior relevant experience in one of those fields

Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Federal clearance

Strong software development skills, including design, development, testing, deployment and support

Excellent communication (written and verbal), time management, interpersonal and team participation

Ability to rapidly assimilate new technologies and be able to communicate effectively with various teams

Preferred

Active VA or DOD clearance

Active PIV card

Strong analytical skills and ability to handle diverse tasking

Strong written and oral communication skills

Attention to details under tight deadline constraints

Excellent relationship building skills and sound interpersonal skills, while maintaining a high level of professionalism

Ability to take initiative and the desire to learn new skills quickly

Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, best practice standards for creating User Stories, Business Requirements Documents, Interface Control Documents, and Change Requests

Experience with relational databases

Detail oriented, able to prioritize, multitask, meet deadlines, and coordinate schedules with others

Strong documentation, process, and organizational skills

Strong knowledge of software development standards and best practices

Troubleshooting and problem solving skills

Follow existing source code management and version control processes for all coding efforts

Ability to create, analyze, design, develop, test, troubleshoot, optimize, enhance and maintain interfaces in various formats between application systems

Ability to design and develop ETL transformations and mappings (extracting, transforming and loading data) from a variety of data formats and structures into enterprise-scale databases
