Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company's financial technology (FinTech) strategy, aligning it with business objectives
Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and gain a competitive edge
Responsible for the overall budget for financial technology and must demonstrate a strong return on investment (ROI)
Overseeing the entire lifecycle of financial systems, from planning and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance
Ensure that systems are secure, compliant with regulations, and scalable to support future growth
Manage vendor relationships and negotiating contracts for technology services
Lead and mentor a team of technology professionals, including developers, analysts, and project managers
Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, providing guidance, and ensuring their team has the necessary skills and resources to succeed
Project management for large-scale financial system implementations
Act as a crucial link between the finance, accounting, and IT departments
Translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clearly articulate how technology solutions will meet business needs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology needs, solve problems, and streamline processes
Ensure the security and integrity of all financial data
Implement and enforce internal controls, manage data security, and ensure all systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to protect financial operations from disruptions
Qualification
Required
15+ years of progressive IT leadership, with a minimum of 10 years in Finance systems and ERP strategy
Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Controlling, and integration with Procurement and Supply Chain
Proven experience in large-scale ERP implementations, global rollouts, and process re-engineering
Strong command of financial operations — accounting, FP&A, treasury, procurement, compliance, and audit support
Demonstrated ability to leverage advanced analytics, BI tools, and data visualization to drive insights
Exceptional executive presence and ability to influence at the C-suite and Board level
Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, or related field; MBA or relevant professional certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Professional, PMP, ITIL) strongly preferred
