Organ Recovery Coordinator - RN or RT, Critical Care Experience

Responsibilities
Evaluating organ system function
Performing a thorough physical assessment
Completing accurate and proper donor chart documentation
Preparing OR suite for the recovery
Assisting with packaging and labeling organs per UNOS and Indiana Donor Network policy
Qualification
Required
Registered Nurse with Critical Care experience or a Respiratory Therapist with Critical Care experience
Ability to think analytically and tackle problems using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach
Ability to develop and strengthen partnerships with others inside or outside the organization
Demonstrate a depth of knowledge and skill in every aspect of the Organ Recovery Coordinator role
Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) must be obtained within 2 years of date of hire
