Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and adherence to program scope

Collaborate across departments, including Contracts, Supply Chain, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Production, and Finance, to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with contractual commitments

Effectively communicate workstreams to senior leadership and customers

Manage contract changes by clearly outlining the scope, schedule, and cost implications

Identify and assess program risks, communicating mitigation strategies to senior leadership

Work closely with customers on contract modifications, reviews, and technical performance milestones

Deliver engaging presentations and foster strong interpersonal relationships with customers, with the ability to tactfully manage expectations

Lead full-lifecycle satellite development, from kickoff, to delivery, and ultimately operation

Guide multiple, complex programs through challenges

Grow a team and build processes to ensure success

Building and tracking KPIs beyond the standard CPI and SPI

Required

Direct experience in major design reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR) and have experienced a majority of the standard program lifecycle. Operational experience is a plus

A strong understanding of USG contracts and their artifacts to make sure we perform the work we are on contract for. FFP contract knowledge and experience is a plus

Direct experience in mentoring other Program Managers and Engineers

Experience instantiating processes for successful program management

Significant experience with multiple contract types and leading teams through complex changes

You must have experience in modifying the technical and programmatic portions of a USG contract (or equivalent)

A current TS/SCI or you must be immediately TS/SCI eligible

Experience in briefing customer and company leadership and have a refined skillset for delivering results

Creative problem-solving examples that span technical, programmatic, and contractual responsibilities

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, science, or a related technical field (a business degree with aerospace or production experience may be considered)

10+ years of experience as a program manager in aerospace or a related field

Strong leadership and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to managing complex projects
