Responsibilities

Works under close supervision and receives specific and detailed instructions for required tasks and results expected
Participate in the design and evaluation of Client transmission and distribution infrastructure using AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, and/or other design tools to ensure that the needs of the Client are met in the most economical and effective manner
Develop understanding and expertise of RUS and NESC requirements. Participate in preparation and administration of IOU, RUS, state, and municipal construction contracts
Review engineering plans, specifications, and equipment for utility projects
Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches
Assist in the continued development of both Company and Client standards to provide guidelines for future project planning and design
Perform basic functions of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Must interface well with Clients, Vendors, Representatives, and Employees at all levels
Travel is required for this position on an as-needed basis

Required

B.S. degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering required
Zero (0) years of applicable experience required
Current Engineering Intern or passage of FE Exam within first six months of hire
Works under close supervision and receives specific and detailed instructions for required tasks and results expected
Participate in the design and evaluation of Client transmission and distribution infrastructure using AutoCAD, PLS-CADD, and/or other design tools to ensure that the needs of the Client are met in the most economical and effective manner
