Responsibilities
Primary Finance point of contact, coordinating communication and deliverables between internal and external teams related to strategic alliances with retail funds
Responsible for day-to -day activities related to the accounting and reporting for a newly created group
Work collaboratively across business units to aggregate and communicate information required for daily and monthly NAV strikes
Partner with others across the firm to prepare and deliver recurring reports, ensuring clarity, timeliness, and accuracy
Review and analyze financial data across multiple groups to maintain consistency and integrity
Manage reporting schedules, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly, monthly, and annual deadlines
Negotiate and define new reporting requirements with stakeholders
Responsible for preparation of quarterly close deliverables for BX reporting
Manage day-to-day activities of offshore team
Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects
Qualification
Required
BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
4+ years of public accounting experience
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic; effectively multi-tasks and executes a wide range of assignments; strong time management skills
Commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professional
Preferred
CPA license
Experience with public companies, open-ended fund, the private asset industry, and/or retail fund
