Digital Content Fellow

Major League Baseball (MLB) is introducing its Digital Content Fellowship program aimed at early career candidates, including recent college graduates, to prepare for roles in the Content Department and the baseball industry. Selected fellows will engage in various aspects of content creation and coverage while receiving mentorship from senior editors and reporters throughout the baseball season.

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree
2-3 years of news gathering experience (including work done for school-related media outlets), with an emphasis on accuracy, writing, reporting and copy editing
Ability to work well under deadlines and fast-paced situations with multiple responsibilities
Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred

Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms, and web publishing a plus
Applicants who have completed their degree prior to the start of the 2026 season
