Responsibilities

Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail

Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and / or intervention and utilize magnetic fields to produce quality MRI imaging

Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required

Qualification

Required

Require American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R) certification and active State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license

Require graduate of an accredited American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) certification program
