Responsibilities
Maintain and uphold the College values of Learning, Excellence, Accountability, Diversity, Student Success, Teamwork, Integrity, and Respect. Regular attendance is required
Complete all required College training and responsible for maintaining the skills necessary to complete the essential functions of the position as defined by the department
Student Success is the cornerstone of Western’s culture and the college may assign employees as needed to other areas or additional duties to foster this success
Mentor student Campus Safety officers and provide training on building-level patrol procedures
Patrol campus facilities and parking lots and parking enforcement
Collect and transport cash deposits from various locations to financial institutions
Check assigned areas for non-authorized individuals and/or suspicious activities
Provide customer service to students, staff, and the public at Western Campus Locations
Immediately report any serious incident to the proper authority and provide incident assistance as directed
Check for maintenance problems and safety/security concerns while completing patrols
Complete duty reports, incident reports, and injury reports as needed
Qualification
Required
High School graduate or equivalent
18 years old at time of hire
Valid Driver's License at time of hire
