New Grad, Entry LevelThe Pennsylvania State University is looking to hire part-time research assistants for the Central Pennsylvania Research and Teaching Laboratory for Biofuels. The role involves assisting with metabolic engineering of industrial hemp and various laboratory tasks including tissue culture preparation and data analysis.

Preparation of tissue culture media, growth hormones and culture of explants under sterile conditions
Assist with DNA, RNA and Protein isolation
Routine upkeep of the laboratory and Greehouse
Collect, analyze data and involve in publishing papers as co- authors
Assist with working on cancer cell lines and engineering cannabinoid pathway genes in E.Coli
Assist PI and Director of the laboratory with other duties as assigned
